Vistors

Thanks Melissa and Jeremy for visiting us this weekend. The time flew by. We had a fun filled weekend starting with picking you up at the airport with Alex and Claire and Joseph...going to Ted Drews, seeing you dressed up for the wedding, eating breakfast with Uncle Butch, Aunt Mary, Nana and Papa, going to Ballwin waterpark with Claire, eating at Fortels, taking Joseph to his first day of school, shopping at the mall, eating at Fritz's and visiting grandma Meyers. Next time hopefully it will not be so darn HOT! At least we were able to eat outside at Fritz's, until the label was in the food!!! Love you guys and hope the kids did not scare you fromhaving kids and moving to St Louis!!!

First Day of School

Monday August 13, 2007..Joseph first day of Preschool at Wren Hollow. He had his backpack, pencils, paper, glue sticks, boo-boo bear which he needed on his first day....I was at the mall with my cousins and Thomas enjoying shopping for school clothes for Joseph when...ring-ring-ring...It was school...Calling me on my cell on the FIRST day of school. Ms Lindsay said Joseph was stung by a wasp on his ear!! no swelling, they had ice on it and he had his bo0-boo bear. She said out of her six years of teaching no child had been stung by a bee...Joseph wanted to make sure she always remembered him. Other then that he had a great day. When I picked him up he was playing outside with the kids. Please notice the Elmo backpack which he was very excited to bring to school. Thanks Nana and Papa...

Jillys Cupcake Bar

I was on my way to the dentist a few weeks ago and on my way back to work I noticed this new shop opening with cute pink polkadots in the window. I saw Jilly's and cupcake but drove by too fast. I searched the net and found http://www.jillyscupcakebar.com/
They opened about 1 week ago. That week I had another dentist appt, (I have TMJ so they had to make a mouth guard, just wanted to throw that in if you are wondering why I am at the dentist all the time) on my way back to work I had to go to Jilly's. And it was wonderful. The cupcakes are beautiful plus they have breakfast and lunch. Can't wait for out of town visitors...Guess where we will be going.???? Plus the girls there loved my shoes...Who can't love a place that loves shoes!

Blog losing sleep

Only problem with the blog, I have been up late. Lisa + lack of sleep= crabby. That is not good for the family. Once the excitment of trying something new wears off, I will start to go to bed early again...BTW, since I have now emailed my blog to some of you, for those that have not seen me in a while...I had my hair cut off, no time for hair when you have two kids...

It is wonderful to have short hair. Joseph said"mom look at the back of your head, what happen to your hair, it will grow back, right?"

Fishing
